Privacy Policy
The short version
This site collects the minimum it needs to get you your hair and answer your messages. No data selling, no ad networks, no spam lists. Ever.
What gets collected
- Order requests: what you picked, your name if you give it, your preferred pickup or delivery option, and any notes. A copy is kept so your order can be tracked from request to handoff.
- Your account, if you make one: email, password (stored encrypted, never readable), and the details you choose to save such as your name and height. Accounts are optional; you can order without one.
- Favorites: saved on your own device, and synced to your account if you have one.
- Contact form messages: name, phone, email, and your message, so the boutique can reply.
- Basic usage analytics: which pages get visited and on what kind of device, measured by HYPHR, the studio that builds and maintains this site. This is traffic measurement, not ad tracking.
Where it lives
Orders, accounts, and favorites live in a secured database. Contact messages and analytics live in the boutique's HYPHR studio portal. Both are access controlled; only the boutique and its site studio can see them.
What never happens
Your information is never sold, rented, or traded. There are no third party ad pixels on this site. You will not be added to a marketing list for texting the plug about bundles.
Your choices
Browse and order without an account any time. Want your account or your data deleted? Text (323) 488-1281 or DM @herfavoritehairboutique from the account in question and it gets handled. You can also clear favorites from your own device in your browser settings.
California residents
Her Favorite Hair Boutique is based in Los Angeles, CA. California residents can ask what information is held about them, ask for it to be deleted, and will never be treated differently for asking. One text to (323) 488-1281 does it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version goes up on this page with a new effective date. Effective date: August 22, 2026.
